The PRUNETI company has devoted itself with expertise to the production of extra virgin olive oil, carrying on a family tradition that has lasted for many generations, right in the heart of the Chianti Classico, a region worldwide known thanks to its excellent agricultural productions.
Here olive growing enjoys a microclimate that is especially suitable for this purpose, which allows a particularly fine oil to be obtained from the fruit of these plants, both in terms of organoleptic and sensory characteristics.

It is exactly the characteristics of the region, combined with extremely high quality, that contributes in making PRUNETI olive oil a product that is absolutely unique.
Our oils speak through their aromas and their flavours. They tell a story of the Chianti region, of its traditions. They tell a story about the dry, galestro hills, of the wonderful landscapes that surround Florence. The story of the land from which “green gold” grows…

The olive groves of the PRUNETI Company extend for around 80 hectares over hilly terrain around Sano Polo in Chianti, the entire area giving very different fruits due to the different exposition enjoyed by the plants and the mutable morphology of the land. Within the olive groves it is possible to find three of the most well-known and widespread plant varieties in the Chianti and Tuscany region: Leccino, Moraiolo and Frantoio, They are expertly distributed together with other minor regional varieties (Pendolino, Maurino, Correggiolo, Leccio del Corno, Leccione).

The olives are harvested within 60 days at different stages of maturation and in areas that are completely different, even if close together.
This arrangement, combined with special processing methods used within the olive mill, allows us to create oils that are completely unique, each one different from the other, even though they come from a single territory.
