The PRUNETI Company is made up of 80 hectares of olive groves on which there are around 25,000 plants, 5 hectares of vineyards, 4 hectares of iris and some plots of land reserved for the cultivation of saffron. All the land is cultivated by organic means.
The first production site is the family’s farmhouse, situated close to the production land, in San Polo in Chianti.
The oil mill was built in 2009 due to Paolo and Gionni Pruneti’s will to personally manage all phases of production.
The new facility was expanded in 2013 and now stands at more than 1,000 m2. It is completely dedicated to production: mill, storage and bottling line.
In 2010 the “Oil-Tasting Room” was built next to the mill: a space entirely dedicated to knowledge and promotion of extra-virgin olive oil, which is achieved through tastings and events.

The PRUNETI company produces and sells 9 different types of Extra-virgin Olive Oil, Iris, Wine and Saffron.
In addition to Italy and its widespread distribution network in northern Europe, several export channels are in place for North and South America, Asia and Oceania.
Amongst the various certifications held by the company there are the DOP Chianti Classico, the Toscano IGP “Colline di Firenze”, Organic Agriculture and the DOCG Chianti Classico.
The Pruneti company is also specialized in managing private labels and offers consultancy both in Italy and abroad for companies that would like to improve the quality of their oil.
